It has got to suck real bad for me to seat in front of my PC blogging on a public holida. BUT, I just need to get this outta my head!

About an hour ago, I sent out a mass SMS to a selected pool of guy friends. Below was the question that I have prompted:
"Dude, I have a question. When was the last time u brought your mother out? Say for a walk, shopping n etc?"

I have sent this out to 14 people and I’ve got… 13 RESPONDENTS!!!

Below are their replies:

Respondent A : Went for makan two weeks back i think.
Respondent B : Hello. Who is this? (Thiew lei!! $*(!#%$&%*^ RUBIN!!) - (Then I replied, identifying myself)
Respondent B : Can’t remember. Not in a long time. -_-
Respondent C : Last Sunday. Why?
Respondent D : Erm, 1 month ago? Why?
Respondent E : Last month. We went shopping for new year’s clothes.
Respondent F : Many times. Mom is close to me. Why again?
Respondent G : Every Sunday for dinner.
Respondent H : My mother? Usually my dad do that
Respondent I : Every time she comes to USJ. Y?
Respondent J : I’m climbing now…
Respondent K : Since I was a virgin? (THE MOTHER OF ALL ANSWERS!!)
Respondent L : Huh.. not even a single time.
Respondent M : (He called back!! For a moment, I was so glad that he actually took the effort to call back just to consult and advice me!!"

So, since so many of u asked me “WHY”. Here is the reason…

This morning, my sister came to me and asked me to go to Chin Swee temple in Genting highland together-gether with the family.

Being the lazy me and not keen at all to hang out with a 4 year old toddler (my niece). I declined without thinking. My sister asked again & again, I declined again & again.
.
She then asked me a simple question. When she was asking, I SWEAR TO GOD she almost looked like…
Basically, I declined too. It really pisses her off, I think. Anyway, that question got me into thinking. It really has been a while since I hang out with my mom. GOD I FELT SO GUILTY!!
.
So, after a self review and some advices from good friends, I have made a decision to bring my mom out for a good meal this weekend.

BUT WAIT!!!!! I’VE EARLIER ON GIVEN MY PROMISE TO GO DOWN TO JB THIS WEEKEND!!
.
Hence, I took the gamble to cancel off my JB trip and of course, in this situation, pleasing someone else means disappointing the other one.
.
So, what else? Kena whack left, right, center lar!! And I got this reminder that I’m poor at decision making. AGAIN, a comment that got me into thinking.

This call for another round of self-review… and perhaps, I‘m indeed an impulsive decision maker.

Being an impulsive decision maker will definitely stops me from one day being an effective leader. To my understanding, a leader must be prepared to make critical decisions everyday. YES!! The ability to be DECISIVE BUT NOT HASTY is the utmost important value of a leader. And YES, we all understand that other strengths can be neglected once you have that, right?
To me… the election fever has yet to dissolve =P
While most are eyeing for more updates about post election stuffs, the news that aggressive criminals robbing taxis from the drivers caught my attention.

They are just SAGAs!! And they are probably as old as the robbers. Then again, if them drug addicts can sell it off for a pack of drug, they will still do it.

Cari makan nowadays damn tough. And them drug addicts are robbing the rice bowls outta cab drivers. Some cabs are even rented. So, what can they do? Upgrade their cars, maybe?
