But, what is there to tolerate? Why is even there any toleration required for woman’s dressing? Tolerate means to endure without repugnance. If you can’t tolerate a person, you can’t tolerate something in her that is a part of yourself. What isn’t part of ourselves doesn’t disturb us.

Even Micheal Jackson sings that "If you wanna make the world a better place bla bla bla" and he goes "I’m starting with the man in the mirror"

And, he also noted that "eye-popping” outfits invited undesirable attention. Shouldn’t the men in Kelantan changes their perception so that they won’t be too itchy to eye-pop easily?

And, how often does the vast majority visits eateries just to look at waiteresses rather than the food? If you ask me, i don’t see any empirical evidence to even justify this point.

And for those retail assistance who are required to promote their latest offerings by wearing them, are these an insult to Islam?

I believe that PERCEPTION is the main problem, not dresscode. It is the mentality of the male there that had resulted in such a discriminating law against women.

Take this scenario for instance, if you end up covering a woman from head to toe, but the mentality has yet to change, males in Kelantan would soon take note of other parts not being covered up and categorize them as sexually attractive.

If they can find revealing knees and elbows attractive, don’t be surprise if they find lips attractive . So what is MPKB going to do then? Ban the cosmetic industry and say "we have a lot of complaints on sexy coloured lipsticks"? or impose a law that women should cover up their face with scarf?

If MPKB cannot kick away the entire cosmetic industry in Kelantan, are women then suggested to bring a blender and a straw to eateries so that they can blend their curry laksa and suck their meals while having their lips covered with scarf?

If the mentality or the perceptions of Kelantanese males can’t change, even equipping the women with a full suit of battle armors covering head to toe won’t help. I think that before implementing OR even suggesting such discriminating laws, the root cause must first be identified.
