The budget for 2006 has been released. In 2005 itself, the price of cigarettes has increased more than 1 time. From RM 5.40 -> RM 6.50 -> Current retail price. Well, the price of cigs have always been increasing. But this time, even before I’ve been exposed to the new selling price, I’ve made a firm decision. I’m quitting. It has been for quite a period of time where I’ve damaged my health and those surrounding me.
The picture became clearer. I now know who is my friend and who is my colleague. Ever wonder why "Jewel In The Palace" was such big hit amongst the working people? Cause the kitchen politics in that Korean palace was rather identical to what you can find in any working environment/ office!!
I was screwed by my colleague for no reason just an hour before work ends. Well, at least its unreasonable enough from my sense. Why was I screwed? Here’s the situation…..
My colleague has came across 1 of the most troublesome prospect ever. Without questions nor hesitations, I came to offer my help when requested. After a long struggle with that prospect over the phone, it came to an end. There after, I went and gather details in order to get back to the customer.
To do so, I asked another colleague of mine. After several enquiries, I finally told her how and why I’m the person now who took over in following up this lead. My reason? Well, I have encountered several cases before that 2 or more consultants actually follows up 1 single customer, which can be disastrous at the end. So, to clearify the situation, I told her everything. This bitch then went back to the initial colleague of mine and tell her back. In what tone she did it? I don’t know. Did she add anything extra? I don’t know either. Eventually, I was accused of backstabbing my first colleague.
Surya my friend, you were there. It was hopeless for me to even explain myself out of a situation where accusing can be based on no facts. I apologised immediately and directly….. for I see no other options.
